A group of young ladies take the stage in recognition of their Rite of Passage ceremony

On March 25th, 2017, I.M.A.M. held a joint celebration for the birth anniversary of Lady Fatimah and the Rite of Passage (Takleef) ceremony for 22 young ladies. The event was attended by the representative of His Eminence, Ayatullah Sayyid al-Sistani and Chairman of I.M.A.M., Sayyid M.B. Kashmiri. Other notable guests were Sayyid Mahdi Al-Ameen and Shaykh Borair Assim.

The young girls began the program by reciting poetry, after which Sayyid Kashmiri addressed this most special group. In his remarks, Sayyid delivered enlightening advice to the esteemed young ladies, regarding their new spiritual roles, having reached this milestone in their lives, and how God Almighty chooses this age to take on a greater spiritual responsibility.

Sayyid Mahdi Al-Ameen then spoke about the importance and responsibility of all Muslims toward good moral behavior.

At the end of the ceremony, Sayyid Kashmiri and Sayyid Al-Ameen presented gifts and awards to the young ladies, and presented certificates of appreciation to the sisters who volunteered and organized the ladies program in Dearborn.

The program also celebrated the birth of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (p). In honor of Lady Fatimah (p), gifts and prizes were distributed to the guests.
