Is it permissible to use dating apps to find a temporary or permanent marriage partner?
The use of dating apps to find a partner for marriage whether permanent or temporary is permissible if it does not entail any form of sin such as gazing or speaking lustfully.

If someone jokingly says “I’m your god” and another person laughs at this person’s statement, will the latter have sinned for encouraging the person making the false statement?
One should advise that person to not make such a statement even if they were joking. If laughing encourages the person to continue making such false statements, then it might be counted as a sin. Therefore, one must repent to God Almighty and avoid such gatherings that promote wrong beliefs.

Some technology companies have a service department, like an online music service, that generates profit for it. People buy songs from this store and also pay money to listen to continuous streams of music at a fixed monthly subscription fee. Is it permissible to invest in stocks of this company? If one already has the stocks, should they sell them because of obligatory principle?
It is not permissible to invest in companies that generate part of their profits from unlawful transactions unless it is a small ratio like 1% of the whole or less, for example. Even then, the small ratio (i.e., the profit earned from unlawful transactions) cannot be owned and should be given to needy people.

Are we allowed to eat in non-Muslim restaurants where cooking of non-halal foods occurs with the same utensils and equipment?
You can eat it as long as you do not know that the food has become impure (i.e., by mixing with the haram food).

Is it haram to be a cashier at a grocery store that sells pork and alcohol, if you must scan those items at checkout? If it is haram and you have to quit but still have the money from working, is that income haram even though you just learned the ruling on the matter?
Your income is lawful; however, you must avoid bagging alcohol and whatever is considered aiding others to engage in unlawful acts. As for the paycheck the cashier receives for this job, since the store is not designated and limited to unlawful business, it shouldn't be an issue. However, the best for a believer is to avoid such jobs as much as possible.

I work for a bank. My job is on a small team that receives requests to conduct focus groups ,update content that associates use for handling customer calls, and listening to calls to make sure that associates are following the correct process to handle inquires. My manager is Muslim and allows me to go home early so that I am able to pray the dhuhr prayer and allows me to work from home on Fridays so that I can conduct all of my prayers on time. The bank is a credit card bank and charges interest but they also receive their profit from partnerships (e.g., they receive a specific amount from visa and master card every time a customer swipes the card). Since my role does not specifically deal with charging interest, writing up the contracts, or promoting interest, is it haram to work there?

My seven year-old son was born with autism and it is hard for him to comprehend and follow certain directions. Would his diagnosis lift the obligation on him to offer salat and fast in the month of Ramadan once he gets older?
If the autism impairs his mental ability such that he cannot comprehend religious obligations, then any religious responsibility would be lifted from him.
