Islamic Marriage

Allah, the Exalted, says in The Holy Quran:
“And among His signs is that He created for you from yourselves spouses that you may find tranquility in them, and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed, in that are signs for people who reflect.” (30:21)

In response to the needs of the Muslim community, I.M.A.M. provides the service of arranging and documenting marriage contracts in accordance with Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), in the most thorough and proper manner.

I.M.A.M. also offers guidance on another type of contract that includes additional conditions and agency, commonly called a “Prenuptial,” as recommended by experienced religious scholars and attorneys, for those who wish to adopt it.

Both formats are available through the links provided below.

Please note that this only constitutes the religious contract. The bride and groom still need to register their marriage with the appropriate civil authorities in their county for official recognition.

We wish all applicants a blessed and happy marriage.
