Do I pay khums on the house I live in?

Do we have to pay khums on the house you are living in and how?

If you live in the house there is no Khums because it is part of your expenses, however, if you purchased it with money that was due for Khums, then Khums would be due on the amount of purchase. For example, you had saved up 100K through the years without paying Khums, and then later you purchased a home and paid it in cash, then the Khums would be due on the 100K
