I’m having a child inshallah in a couple of months and wanted to understand the ruling regarding the mother doing the adhan in the baby’s ears. Because of the pandemic, they will not allow anyone else in the room.
The recitation of Athan and iqamah does not have to take place right after birth, there for the father can recite it once the baby is out of the delivery room
