Monday, February 25th, 2019, marks the birth anniversary of Sayyida Fatimah al-Zahra (p), 20th of Jumada al-Thania, 1440 A.H.

Imam Hasan (p) is reported to have said, “On a Friday night, I saw my mother, Fatimah (p), standing in her place of prayer. She was continuously bowing and performing prostration [ruku and sujood] until the break of dawn. I would hear her supplicate [the Almighty] for the faithful men and women, but she did not ask anything for herself. I said, ‘Oh mother, why did you not pray for yourself like you prayed for others?’ She replied, ‘Oh my son, first the neighbors and then the [household].’”

[Shaykhِ al-Sadooq, Ilal al-Sharai, vol 1, p 182.]
