Is it permissible to work as a financial lender for a non-Muslim bank?

Is it permissible to work as a financial lender for a non-Muslim bank or entity that gives out funds to non-Muslim companies? Would working in such a business (as long as the transactions are done between two non-Muslim businesses) be permissible and would the income that I make from the business be considered halal income?

In general, working as a middleman to provide funding from a non-Muslim financial institution to a non-Muslim company is permissible, and the commission you earn is lawful (halal), unless you know the nature of the business is unlawful (haram) such as liquor companies.
