Is there any restriction from an Islamic point of view over brooming at night no matter how much ever waste is lying in the house? Some old women in the house always say so.
There is no problem with brooming at night. In fact, it is detestable (makrooh) to keep trash in the house at night, rather one should take it out of the house.
