Martyrdom Anniversary of Sayyida Fatimah al-Zahra (p)

Monday, December 28th, 2020, marks the martyrdom anniversary of Sayyida Fatimah al-Zahra (p) according to the second narration, 13th of Jumada al-Ula, 1442 A.H.

It was reported that a man had asked his wife to go and ask Sayyida Fatimah (p), daughter of the Messenger of God (pbuh&hp), if he was considered among the [true] Shia [of Ahl al-Bayt]. When she asked, Sayyida Fatimah (p) replied, “Tell him, if you act according to our commands and keep away from what we forbid, then you are from our Shia; otherwise, you are not.”

قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِامْرَأَتِهِ اذْهَبِي إِلَى فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه و آله ) فَاسْأَلِيهَا عَنِّي، أَنِّي مِنْ شِيعَتِكُمْ، أَمْ لَيْسَ مِنْ شِيعَتِكُمْ؟ فَسَأَلَتْهَا، فَقَالَتْ: قُولِي لَهُ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْمَلُ بِمَا أَمَرْنَاكَ، وَ تَنْتَهِي عَمَّا زَجَرْنَاكَ عَنْهُ، فَأَنْتَ مِنْ شِيعَتِنَا، وَ إِلَّا فَلَا
