Imamia Medics International held a virtual forum on July 19, in partnership with several religious scholars and health specialists to come up with ideas on how to ensure a safe observance of the month of Muharram at Shia Muslim Islamic centers and mosques across North America.

Echoing the sentiments of his Eminence Sayyid al-Sistani, Sayyid M. B. Kashmiri, vice chairman of I.M.A.M. and representative of jurist, underscored the importance of ensuring that no one is put at risk of contracting the novel coronavirus because of unsafe conditions at Islamic centers and mosques during Muharram.
