Sayyid M.B. Kashmiri addresses the community at Daar-e-Panjatan
On Friday, December 9, 2016, Sayyid M.B. Kashmiri was invited to Daar-e-Panjatan in Miami, Florida to participate in an Interfaith dialog and engagement program as well to celebrate the successorship of Imam Mahdi (ajfs). The director of IMAM began with an explanation of IMAM’s five core functions and how the organization can serve the community.
Sayyid Kashmiri focused on the importance of maintaining Shia unity by unifying under the umbrella of Imam Mahdi (p) irrespective of following different Marja. He referred specifically to the Holy Quran which states in chapter al-Israa: “Certainly We have honoured the Children of Adam, and carried them over land and sea, and provided them with all the good things, and preferred them with a complete preference over many of those We have created.” (The Holy Quran, 17:70)

Sayyid Kashmiri also discussed Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib’s (p) advice to Malik al-Ashtar, which outlines the basic unifying principles and behavior how to deal with all of mankind. He encouraged the followers of other religions to be have one unified voice against Islamophobia because those who stand against Islam today surely will stand against other religions too.
