Do The Right Thing | COVID-19 Vaccine PSA
In this public service announcement, Sayyid M.B. Kashmiri receives his COVID-19 vaccine.
To promote health, well-being and protection for all citizens, I.M.A.M. encourages all the members of the Muslim community of North America to get vaccinated. Medical experts have verified and reiterated that all COVID-19 vaccines being administered in the U.S. and Canada are effective and safe.
According to Sayyid al-Sistani, it is every believer’s religious and social obligation to get vaccinated if there is a heightened risk of contracting the illness and undergoing or suffering serious harm or even potential death by not doing so.
Therefore, be sure to consult with your physician and/or medical experts and follow their advice, and if appropriate, get vaccinated at the earliest possible opportunity.
