Is Nauroz or Persian New Year an Islamic holiday and is it recommended to perform ghusl on that day?
Nauroz is not an Islamic holiday, however, there is no problem in performing ghusl on that day with the intention that it may be desired by God Almighty (raja al-matlubi).
