What is your question?

Can the nawafil prayers of salat al-dhuhr be prayed before dhuhr adhan?

Answer

Praying nafilat al-dhuhr is not permitted before the time of dhuhr except for a person who has a valid excuse such as having a short break at work during dhuhr prayer (i.e. only enough for dhuhr and asr, and not enough for performing nafilah). In this case it is permissible to pray the nafilah before the time of dhuhr. As for Fridays, there are recommended nawafil that can be prayed before dhuhr.

What is your question?

I broke my fast intentionally due to anger 2 years ago, what should I do to observe the qadha? I'm aware of the kaffarah, but I can't fast for two months as my mother won't allow me due to health reasons and I have other lapsed fasts due to my menstrual cycle which are still to be made up, and I can't feed 60 people because I'm not financially independent. What should I do?

Answer

The first thing you are obliged to do is repent to God, and your regret is an indication that you are sincere. As for the kaffarah, you can pay it when you become financially able or you can take care of it in increments. Also, based on recommended precaution, you need to make up the day of fasting over the course of the next year before the next month of Ramadan.

What is your question?

After praying I saw that my small toe had blood on it. Does it make my prayer invalid and does it make my prayer mat najis too? Do I have to wash it?

Answer

If you were certain that before prayer your body and clothes were pure (tahir) (i.e. did not have blood on them), and you only realized after completing the prayer that your toe had blood on it, your prayer is deemed correct. Regardless, a person can pray if there is [their own] blood on their body as long as it is not greater than a thumbprint in size.

As for the prayer mat, if you are not sure that the blood has come into contact with the mat it is deemed as pure (tahir).

What is your question?

1) Whenever I get aroused a considerable amount of liquid discharge comes out of my private part, does ghusl janabah become wajib on me?

2) Some henna contains chemicals such that after some days it starts to peel off like skin, can I apply it? Does this henna invalidate wudhu?

Answer

1) If the amount of liquid that is discharged is a lot, to the extent that it soils the clothing, then based on obligatory precaution it is impure and causes janabah, and therefore ghusl is required for prayer or any other act of worship that requires being in the state of ritual purity.

2) Henna does not invalidate wudhu if it is merely a color [on the skin], but if it is a substance that constitutes a layer over the skin that prevents water from reaching it, then it must be removed before wudhu.

What is your question?

Can a person who himself has qadha prayers offer qadha prayers of his/her deceased parents?

Answer

If a person wishes to offer the qadha or lapsed prayers of their deceased parents, but also have to make-up their own qadha prayers, then whichever they offer first will be in order. Note that based on obligatory precaution the eldest son must make-up the lapsed prayers of his deceased father, whereas for any other children (e.g. second-eldest son or daughters) it is not required (while their own lapsed prayers remain required upon them).
