IMAM held an inter-organizational social-educational seminar in collaboration with the Sadr Foundation at its headquarters in Dearborn, MI. Both organizations came together to discuss the educational and humanitarian services they provide to their communities.

Sayyidah Rabab al-Sadr, head of the Sadr Foundation and Sayyid M. B. Kashmiri, the religious affairs director of IMAM, were on the panel. Shaykh al-Halabi, senior religious scholar at IMAM, gave a brief speech, which was followed by the event moderator, Maya Habib, introducing Sayyidah Rabab al-Sadr.

Sr. Rabab talked about her experiences while leading the Sadr Foundation for the past forty years and how she collaborated with organizations on a local, national, and international level. Sayyid M. B. Kashmiri talked about the differences between personal entities and institutional entities. He insisted on the importance of collaborative work between different organizations, since it can become increasingly onerous for a single organization to address various issues.

The seminar witnessed a huge turnout that included religious scholars, public officials, dignitaries, institutional leaders, and community members.
