Martyrdom Anniversary of Imam Hussain ibn Ali (p), 1444 A.H.

Monday, August 8th, 2022, marks the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussain ibn Ali (p), 1444 A.H., and the Day of Ashura.

Imam Ali al-Rida (p) is reported to have said:

 “If you have to cry over something, then do so over Hussain ibn Ali (p), for surely he was slaughtered in the manner in which a ram is slaughtered.”

روي عن الإمام علي الرضا (ع):

“إنْ كُنتَ باكِياً لشيءٍ فابْكِ لِلحُسَينِ بِن عَلي بِن أبي طالِب عَليْهما السَّلام فَإنَّهُ ذُبِحَ كَمَا يُذْبَحُ الكَبْشْ”
