The 13th of Jumada al-Ula marks the martyrdom anniversary of Sayyida Fatimah al-Zahra (p) according to the second narration

The Selfless Supplication

One quiet night, Lady Fatimah (p) stood alone in her room, absorbed in prayer. Her soft, steady voice rose in heartfelt supplication—not for herself, but for her neighbors, her friends, and the entire Muslim community. Hours slipped by, yet her pleas continued. Her young son, Imam Hasan (p), passed by her room several times that night, each time hearing her gentle voice praying selflessly for others. Finally, moved by her unwavering devotion, he approached her and asked, “Mother, why do you spend so much time praying for others, when you have needs of your own?”

Lady Fatimah (p)  turned to him with a warm, loving smile, her eyes filled with the light of compassion. “My dear son,” she replied softly, “the neighbors first, then our family.”

In that simple yet profound answer, she offered him a lesson of empathy and selflessness that would resonate through the ages—a reminder of her boundless love for all those around her.
