Martyrdom Anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Rida (p), 1441 A.H.
Wednesday, October 16th, 2019, marks the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Rida (p), 17th of Safar, 1441 A.H.
It was narrated by al-Harawy [a companion of Imam al-Rida (p)], “I heard Aba al-Hasan Ali ibn Musa al-Rida (p) say: ‘May God bestow mercy upon a servant who revives our cause.’ I [Al-Harawy] asked, ‘How is your cause revived?’ Imam al-Rida (p) replied, ‘By learning our knowledge and teaching it to people, for if people knew the beauties of our words they would have followed us.’”

روي عن الهروي سمعت أبا الحسن علي إبن موسى الرضا (ع) يقول رحم الله عبدا أحيا أمرنا فقلت له
وكيف يحيى أمركم؟ قال: يتعلم علومنا ويعلمها الناس فإن الناس لو علموا محاسن كلامنا لاتبعونا
