Thursday, January 9th, 2020 marks the martyrdom anniversary of
Sayyida Fatimah al-Zahra (p) according to the second narration, 13th of Jumada al-Ula, 1441 A.H.

Imam Hasan (p) is reported to have said, “On a Friday night I saw my mother, Fatimah (p) standing in her place of prayer. She was continuously bowing and performing prostration until the break of dawn. I would hear her pray for the faithful men and women, but she did not at all pray for herself. I said, ‘Oh mother, why did you not pray for yourself like you prayed for others?’ She replied, ‘Oh my son, the neighbor [first] and then the house[hold].'”

[Al-Sadooq, Ilal al-sharai, vol. 1, p. 182]
