Shia Youth Conference at NYU

On Saturday, March 18, 2023, the Islamic Center of New York University held a one-day conference for over 200 hundred students, local and nationwide, under the leadership of Dr. Shaykh Faiyaz Jaffer.

The conference sessions were designed to elevate and improve college students’ religious education and spirituality under the guidance of academic clerics.
Per request, Sayyid Kashmiri delivered the keynote address. He highlighted several essential points bringing attention to the priorities that university students should care about, including the significance of religious knowledge, networking with others in different states, and contacting religious authorities to ensure the continuation of such activities.
