The Resident Scholars Receive Marjaeya Remarks
During his preaching journey for Imam Hussain (P) commemoration in the Dearborn area, His Eminence, Ayatollah Sayyid Monir al-Khabbaz hosted by IMAM’s Headquarters in Dearborn and met nearly thirty Imams, scholars, speakers, and clergy on Saturday, July 20, 2024
The Marja’ representative, Sayyid M. B. Kashmiri in a few warm welcome words, opened the session officially and gave the floor to the distinguished guest to address his remarks and advice. Ayatollah al-Khabbaz addressed a few pieces of advice to respected clergymen about the importance and sensitive role they play in the community that requires all scholars to be more cautious in addressing verdicts, religious content, dealing with and tackling family cases, and more. Following his short speech, His Eminance opened the floor for discussion and discourse. There were many contemporary topics and challenges opened and discussed, and the meeting went out with rich information and knowledge.
Needless to say, Ayatollah al-Khabbaz is one of the top students of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid al-Sistani, and after a few years, he went back to Najaf and started his high-level classes in Fiqh, Usoul, and Tafsir for the advanced Hawzah scholars.
I.M.A.M. wishes the best stay for Sayyid al-Khabbaz in Dearborn where thousands of people are getting benefit from his knowledge through his intellectual lectures, and all are praying he ends his journey with the grace and back to Naja safe. I.M.A.M. offers its sincere thanks for granting this opportunity and thanks all resident scholars for their attending and participating.
