Does a married woman require her husband’s permission to go on Hajj? What about a divorcée who is in her waiting period (iddah)?
If the wife is capable (i.e. fulfills the requirements making it immediately obligatory) of performing Hajj and it is her first one her husband has no right to forbid her; the same rule applies to the divorcée who is in revocable type of divorce (rajee’), as long as she is still in her waiting period (iddah).
