I am a woman, is the awrah of non-Mahram women and my awrah in front of them different than our awrahs in front of non-Mahram men? With regards to men whom I should cover in front of, does this include my father-in-law and my sisters in law husbands? I wear my hijab in front of these men as an obligatory precaution, but I’m not sure if this is accurate.
In Front of a non-Mahram a woman must cover all of her body except her face and hands from the wrist and below. As for a Mahram a woman is required to cover her private parts. However, she must cover her body even Infront of a Mahram if she is not immune from falling into sin, or if the Mahram can be aroused by looking at her body. Your father-in-law is a Mahram, but your brother-in-law and your sister-in-law’s husband are not Mahram.
