Congratulations on the Joyous Event of Eid al-Ghadir!

Saturday, June 14th, 2025 is the 18th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 A.H. which marks the day of Eid al-Ghadir.
The Day of Ghadir marks the divine appointment of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (p) as the successor of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&hp). On this momentous occasion, God revealed, “This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and chosen for you Islam as your religion” [5:3].
There is no overstating the magnificence of this day. Imam al-Rida (p) is reported to have said. “The Day of Ghadir is better known in the heavens than it is on earth… Be generous to your brothers on this day and bring joy to every believing man and woman” [Musnad al-Imam al-Rida (as), v. 2, p. 245].
The Imams of Ahl al-Bayt (p) have encouraged us to seize the blessings of this occasion through worship and acts of devotion. Imam al-Sadiq (p) is narrated to have said,“Indeed, worship on the Day of Ghadir, the 18th of Dhu al-Hijjah, is equal to the worship of eighty months” [Al-Iqbal, p. 465].
Below are three acts of worship for this auspicious occasion:
We pray that God unfolds His blessings on you and your loved ones on this special day. Eid Mubarak!
