Sayyid Ali al-Mawla

Sayyid Ali al-Mawla was born in 1996 in Dearborn, Michigan, into a Hashemite family descended from Imam al-Kadhim (p).

After high school, Sayyid al-Mawla began his Islamic studies at the seminary of Qum, completing the Muqaddimat level under prominent teachers and the supervision of Sayyid Ali Abulhassan. He then moved to the holy city of Najaf to continue his Sutuh studies under distinguished instructors such as Sayyid Ahmad Zayd Almousawi and Shaykh Hussain Aal-Yaseen. In 2026, he returned to the United States, where he continues his studies virtually to complete his curriculum.

Alongside his seminary education, Sayyid al-Mawla has completed specialized training in Islamic manuscript authentication and hadith verification.

Sayyid al-Mawla currently serves as an instructor at the Shaykh al-Mufid Seminary and as Head of Murtada Academy at I.M.A.M. In addition to his educational roles, he regularly lectures and speaks within the community.

Sayyid al-Mawla is married with three children and resides in Dearborn, Michigan.
