Sayyid Muntadher Aljabery (Almusawi)
Sayyid Muntadher Aljabery began his journey in Islamic studies at an early age in the Arabian Peninsula, pursuing traditional religious learning alongside his formal academic education. After relocating with his family to the United States, he continued both paths of study, completing two years of college while advancing through the introductory and intermediate levels of the Islamic seminary curriculum.
For more than eighteen years, Sayyid Aljabery has been actively engaged in Islamic education, research, writing, and public speaking. He has lectured extensively in both Arabic and English, serving diverse Muslim communities across numerous cities in the United States.
In 2012, he was among the founders of the Fatimah of Pittsburgh Islamic Center in Pennsylvania, where he subsequently served for seven years as its resident scholar.
Since 2020, Sayyid Aljabery has served the Shia Muslim community of Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a resident scholar. He also contributes to I.M.A.M., where he assists in responding to questions of Islamic Law through telephone consultations and the organization’s online platform.
