A Promise of Peace

In a world often overshadowed by injustice, uncertainty, and spiritual confusion, many hearts long for hope and for a time when truth will rise, and peace will reign. The Holy Quran speaks directly to that hope in a powerful verse, one that carries a divine promise for all those who strive in righteousness and patience.

The Divine Promise

God states in the Holy Quran, “God has promised those among you who believe and do righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [khilafah] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them, and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has preferred for them, and He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security — [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me” (Quran 24:55).

This verse not only promises relief and leadership for the believers, but it describes a future where justice, security, and the worship of God alone will define society

The Explanation of Imam al-Sajjad (p)

Imam al- Sajjad (p) interpreted this verse with clarity and certainty. He states, “This verse was revealed regarding the Mahdi from among the descendants of the Prophet” (Tafsir al-Burhan, vol. 4, p. 287).

This is not just about the past or a vague hope. It is a clear prophecy about the future. A future guided by the awaited savior, al-Mahdi (p), who will inherit the earth and fill it with justice as it had been filled with tyranny.

A World Worth Waiting For

This verse and the Imam’s words remind us that Islam is not a religion of despair. A promise that no act of sincerity, struggle, or patience is in vain. One day, led by the Mahdi (p), the faithful will no longer be marginalized. Fear will give way to peace. Darkness to light. And belief will no longer be hidden, but the foundation of a just world.
