Some women want to use birth control pills to delay menstruation to perform the rituals [of worship] during the Hajj and Umrah seasons, fast the entire month of Ramadan, or to have the honor of visiting the honorable shrines of the Prophet and his purified household (pbut) in Medina and other holy cities such as Najaf and Karbala. What is the ruling on this?
There is no problem in doing so provided that it does not entail severe harm.
