When working with special needs students am I allowed to touch their hand?

I work as a teacher, and some of my students are handicapped non-mahram females and have problems writing with their hands, is it permissible to hold their hands and help them learn writing?

You can use gloves when touching their hands. Otherwise, it is not permissible to touch the body of a non-mahram opposite gender directly. You may explain to them that it is for a religious purpose. The experiences show it is acceptable and find a positive reflection.
