Honoring Dr. Shaykh Mehdi S. Hazari

On Friday, April 18, 2025, during the opening session of the first-ever Mental Health Conference for Shia Muslim specialists and professionals in North America, the representative jurist, His Eminence Sayyid Kashmiri, took a moment following his keynote address to honor Dr. Shaykh Mehdi Saeed Hazari.

This recognition was not only for Shaykh Hazari’s pivotal role in initiating and leading this landmark event, including his tireless efforts in developing the project and assembling a capable team but also for his decade-long voluntary service to I.M.A.M. His contributions have ranged from carrying out essential support tasks to shouldering major responsibilities, such as reviewing published materials and website content, and ultimately serving as the responsible secretary on the Foundation’s administrative board.

Sayyid Kashmiri praised Shaykh Hazari’s dedication, sincerity, and steadfast service, highlighting his precision, humility, and solidarity with the team even in the most difficult circumstances. He concluded by wishing continued success to Shaykh Hazari and all those involved in the conference and presented him, on behalf of the Foundation, with a commemorative plaque in recognition and appreciation.
