Empowering Our Community: Successful Certification in Youth Mental Health First Aid

We are pleased to announce that on Saturday, April 26, 2025, seventeen community members completed their training and are now certified as Mental Health First Aiders.
This achievement significantly advances the cultivation of a more supportive and informed community. This event was made possible through collaboration between IMAM Michigan and Corewell Health, which brought together expertise and a shared commitment to promoting mental well-being.
The certification equips participants with the skills to recognize and respond effectively to mental health crises. Additionally, attendees have gained practical knowledge to provide initial support and facilitate connections with appropriate resources, strengthening community networks focused on mental health advocacy.
We deeply appreciate all participants and partners who united with us to foster a culture of mental health awareness and support in our community. IMAM is eager to bring this course to your community, and we invite you to stay engaged for future opportunities to learn, participate, and inspire positive change.
