On Thursday, I went to the mosque to attend the Eid prayers after I broke my fast in the morning (due to the lack of knowledge of having to wait until the prayer) only to find out that the Eid is on Friday. No signs were posted on the mosque’s gate and no emails or phone calls notifying us. They claimed that an email had gone out but I had not received it. I’m not trying to send the wrong message about anyone in that mosque. I love everyone there they all are like my brothers. My concern is what I have to do about the Thursday that I intentionally broke my fast. Is it just simply make it up?
Yes, simply make up the fast. If you truly did so without knowledge and unintentionally then no Kaffarah is required.
