I have a quick inquiry regarding wudhu: Does each entire eyelash have to be washed when washing the face? I ask because there are eyelash extensions that attach to the a tip of the lash itself, not the skin. So wondering if that invalidates wudhu or not.

Answer

The eyelash extensions must be removed before performing wudhu.

What is your question?

I walk into the mosque and a brother was in prayer. He was just getting up from his Tashahod and going into the 3rd Rakah. I stood behind him and started my Maghrib prayer in jamaa.?He finished his Maghrib, and I continued my prayer. He then moved and stood behind me while I was in my 3rd Rakah of prayer, and he started his Esha prayer behind me. Is this valid? I was following the Imam of Jamaa in half my prayer and became the Imam in the second half. It seemed strange.

Answer

Yes, he may do so. It is permissible.

What is your question?

I live in Atlantic Canada and we have two Islamic societies. One of them is under the supervision of a Sayed from Pakistan who leads the Friday prayer and Thursday sunset prayers. The problem is, as I just noticed lately, that he cannot pronounce 'dhal' perfectly and he pronounce it 'zhal' instead as it is hard for non arab generally. Is it OK to pray with his lead and what about my previous prayers. I follow the fatwa of Grand Ayatullah Sayed Ali Sistani.

Answer

It is acceptable based on your description. Your previous prayers are fine.

What is your question?

Is the congregational prayer invalid if there is one woman that is in prayer with the congregation that is not wearing her hijab properly such that her hair shows?

Answer

In all cases, the prayers of the men in the congregation are unaffected. If the woman did so intentionally, knowing that her hair was showing then those connected to her in the congregation from the women will not be considered to be praying in congregation. However, if she were unaware and her actions were not intentional then the congregational prayer is in order.

What is your question?

I did a prayer, and in the Tasbeeh al arba'a (Subhanallah, alhamdullah etc.) I made a mistake by skipping one of the words, I repeated the tasbeeha which I made an error with. If one makes a mistake in pronouncing, skipping a line or similar will the prayer be in order if one repeats the line or word correctly. If one does Sajdah sahw by saying Takbeerat-ul ihram after niyyah is the sajdah valid? If one, after the tashahud of the sajdah says a complete Salam (Salam to the prophet, Salam to oneself and the pious believers and Salam alaykum) will the sajdah be in order?

Answer

Yes, the prayer will be in order. The sajdahtay al-sahw will also be in order.
