I am 62 years old and have been suffering from glaucoma in both eyes since last couple of years. My vision has been damaged up to 95%. I am advised by the eye specialist to use 3/4 types eye drops two times during the day regularly. After pouring drops in to the eyes, I feel sour in my throat. If the drops are not poured in to the eyes, it is expected that the vision may further damage. I shall appreciate, if you could kindly advise whether my fasting is maintained when I feel sour in my throat soon after pouring the drops in to the eyes.
As long as you do not swallow the liquid, your fast will be in order.

I have a question about sadakatul-fitr. Is it allowed to send it to your home country beforehand (15-20 days before eid prayer) so it is sent to a poor Muslim family of my choice through a charity organization?
It is obligatory to spend it in your place of residence towards those who are in need in your own community of Muslims. If this is not available to you then it is permissible to send it to your homeland.

What is the purpose of paying the fidyah?
We are not required to know the purpose, we are required to follow the Islamic laws. This is important to understand because Allah, the legislator, only truly knows the reason for His legislations.
What is the Kuffara for not fasting due to age or permanent medical reasons like Diabetes etc.
It is fidyah per day missed, which is the feeding of an impoverished Muslim 0.75kg of any staple food.
Can somebody give Khums money to a relative as a loan? Relative is not syed and not entitled to recieve Khums. Relative is buying a home and he is short in some amount.?
One may give him a loan, but not from khums.

Any item that is purchased and used for one's business is subject to khums, unless it is primarily used for personal use.

Is it permissible to send my khums to Iraq?
Yes, it is permissible and it becomes obligatory if there is no agent to receive it in your area or those who are deserving of the khums (with permission from the marje').

Must one pay khums on the money he will use to go to hajj?
No, unless the money is still in his possession on the day of his khums (ra's al-sanah al-khumsiyyah), in which case he must pay khums on that money.
