The condition of the prenuptial is invalid. You are within your right to marry temporary or permanent as long as both the temporary and permanent marriage is from a Muslim woman only.

Once the period of the contract is completed, you may initiate a new temporary marriage contract setting a new period of time and agreeing on a new dowry for the bride.

Is it permissible for a Muslim man to have a temporary marriage with a Christian or a Jewish woman and how do I conduct the marriage contract?
Yes, it is permissible if he is not currently in a permanent marriage to a Muslim woman. You may explain to her the meaning of the temporary marriage and then she can make you her agent and you can say on her behalf, I marry (her name) to myself for the period of (enter time frame here) for the dowry of (enter dowry here). Or she can pronounce the marriage contract and represent herself, in which case she would say, I marry myself to (enter your name) for the period of (enter time period) for the dowry of (enter dowry).

From when does the 'eddah begin for a divorced woman?
It starts from when the divorce formula is pronounced by the husband.

I and my three year old daughter were abandoned for three years by my husband, he has not supported financially during this period and he has left me in limbo. What is my legal Islamic right and can he take my daughter, as he said that he would not give me a divorce unless I give him my daughter?
You would be within your rights to ask for a divorce from the jurist (talaq hakem) and he is within his rights to regain custody of his daughter.

My brother is married to a woman, shortly after their marriage he became mentally ill and now he is beyond repair. Can his wife seek a divorce?
If he has no wealth to sustain his wealth then she can apply for a divorce from the jurist. However, if he has wealth with which to sustain her then Ayatullah Sistani has an obligatory precaution that she stays married to him. In such a case, the wife can refer to the ruling of the next most knowledgeable after Ayatullah Sistani (Ayatullah Waheed Al-Khorasani).
